Product and Consumer Manager
About the Role
Responsible Products: RefrigerationDepartment: GTMWorking location: Hybrid, access to Leeds Office 3 days per week
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven individual with a strong interest in home appliances and consumer needs. In this role, you will sit at the heart of our GTM team, taking ownership of key, fast-growing product categories. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape how our products are positioned, launched and experienced by consumers in the UK market.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Trade Marketing, Sales, Brand Marketing, Digital, Service, and will also collaborate with retail and trade partners externally. Acting as a central point of contact for your categories, you will play a critical role within a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.
Responsibility
Lead the Product & Consumer marketing agenda for the Refrigeration category, ensuring activity is aligned with the overall Brand and Category strategy.Own the development and execution of product positioning, messaging and content across online and offline channels.Manage the product introduction process for retailers, including product setup information, assets and launch materials.Develop and maintain GTM plans, communicating key activities and product roadmaps with UK, European and HQ stakeholders.Conduct competitor benchmarking and analyse consumer insights to strengthen product propositions and support category strategy.Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Trade Marketing, Brand, Digital and E-commerce teams to ensure consistent and effective product execution across all channels.Develop and deliver product presentations and training for internal teams, retailers and other external stakeholders.Manage product samples and the product review programme, working with the PR agency, expert reviewers and consumer review partners to maximise product exposure and review performance.Build relationships with key industry and award bodies, such as Which? and Good Housekeeping, to increase product visibility and recognition.Plan and deliver category-related events, product showcases and trade shows in collaboration with relevant Sales and Marketing teams.
Requirement
3+ years’ experience in Marketing, Sales or Product Management is desirable.Experience within the MDA industry is preferred, with Refrigeration category knowledge considered a strong advantage.Strong commercial awareness, with experience in structured analysis, reporting and measuring ROI.Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Consumer-focused mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve the consumer experience.Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work from the Leeds office a minimum of three days per week.
