About The Role

We are looking for a Digital Solutions Architect to design, deliver and evolve digital solutions across data, applications, platforms and integrations.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful digital initiatives from concept through to delivery. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to understand business challenges, turn requirements into effective technical solutions and help embed digital capabilities that deliver measurable value.

You will have the scope to influence how technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric and Azure are applied across the business. You will also support citizen developers, share your expertise and contribute to scalable, secure and sustainable ways of working.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and delivering digital solutions across applications, data and integrationsTranslating business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutionsDeveloping solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologiesTaking ownership of solutions or components throughout the development and delivery lifecycleEnsuring solutions are secure, maintainable and aligned with agreed standards and design patternsWorking collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver measurable business valueSupporting the adoption of digital tools, including low-code and automation solutionsIdentifying and managing risks relating to solution design, data and operationsMaking considered design decisions based on long-term scalability and business impactCreating reusable components, integrations and automation solutions where appropriateSupporting and training citizen developers to expand digital capability across the businessGuiding colleagues in solution design and delivery while encouraging shared learning and continuous improvementHelping to develop standards and patterns that enable consistent, high-quality digital solutions

You Will Ideally Bring

Experience developing and delivering solutions using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BIExperience with Microsoft Fabric artefacts and Gen1 or Gen2 dataflowsA practical understanding of data handling, processing and integration approachesExperience developing with or supporting technologies such as SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Machine Learning, AI Foundry or Copilot StudioKnowledge of application lifecycle management, environments, workspaces and deployment practicesAn awareness of security, access control and data-governance considerationsThe ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutionsConfidence working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting citizen development or training people from non-IT backgroundsA thoughtful, structured approach to problem-solving and decision-makingClear communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge and support others

The Following Would Also Be Valuable

Experience creating reusable Power Platform components, integrations or automation solutions, including Power Apps Component Framework components or custom visualsExposure to programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or C#Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or data-driven environmentFamiliarity with IoT, real-time data or event-hub data processingMicrosoft certifications relating to Azure or Power Platform
